Yellowline Arrow Crab
Scientific name: Stenorhyncus Seticornis
Description: The body of the arrow crab is primarily golden-brown with yellow, brown or white stripes delineating its body and legs. The head of the crab is very pointed and the animal itself is very small growing only up to 1cm in width while the legs of the crab are extremely long almost three times its body length. The tips of the legs are a dark purple color. They are slow moving and nocturnal animals feeding on tiny crustaceans and feather duster worms. The arrow crab can be found living in rocky crevices in coral reefs in the caribbean sea, eastern Africa and the indo-pacific ocean and as far down as 30 feet .
