Description: A yellow and silver fish with blue stripes across its body, the blue-striped snapper is aesthetically pleasing. This fish often lives in deep water, traveling in schools throughout the outer reef and slopes. The Blue-striped snapper feeds mostly on fish at night but also ingests crustaceans and cephalopods. They are known to grow a little over 13 inches in length. These snappers are found throughout the Indo-Pacific region.
