Goldspotted snake eel
Scientific name: Myrichthys ocellatus
Description: The snake eel is beige in general with gold spots encircled by black borders. The eel enjoys eating mostly crabs. They are nocturnal and therefore hunt at night.
Fun Facts:
- It is not a sea snake! It’s in the moray eel family
- Snake eels have no fins! They swim by undulating their bodies
