Scientific name: Sphyraena Barracuda

Description: The great barracuda has a slender and very stream-lined body allowing the fish to be a very fast swimmer. Its body is a bluish-grey color with black spots toward the rear. They have a flat pointed head with an elongated lower jaw filled with very sharp teeth allowing for the barracuda to feed on large fish. They enjoy feeding on several types of fish including jacks, groupers, tunas, and anchovies. Barracudas are found swimming near reefs in warm waters ranging from 74 degrees to 82 degrees Fahrenheit.
