Yellow pyramid butterflyfish
Scientific name: Hemitaurichthys polypelis
Description: This species lives at the edge of the reef or the drop-off area. The body coloration is very distinct. The head is dark brown or black while the rest of the body is bright yellow and a triangular white patch on the sides can be observed. They enjoy feeding on coral polyps and christmas tree worms. They grow up to 7 inches in length and can be found in north and south pacific tropical waters.
