Smooth Trunkfish
Scientific name: Lactophrys Triqueter
Description: The juvenile trunkfish is a tiny dark square-shaped fish with white or yellow spots. Their fins are barely visible and tend to hang around the reef. As they grow into adulthood, their fins enlarge and their bodies lighten in color. Additionally, on their sides, a honeycomb pattern appears.
Fun Facts: This baby fish is the size of a pea!
